What Is The Seashell Ceremony?
After the wedding ceremony is complete, the Minister/Officiant will ask all the guests to pick a shell from the wedding seashell basket.
The Bride / Groom will watch as the wedding party and their guests go to the water’s edge, seashells in hand.
The Minister/Officiant will then ask everyone to make a wish or say a prayer for the newlyweds, and then throw their seashell into the water.
